It’s October! It’s Fall! And that means all things pumpkin spice for this girl! Are you a pumpkin lover? I sure am, but I also just love all things seasonal and festive. So any chance to celebrate this fall weather and colors, I’ll take it!
I just love the crisp morning air this time of year and watching the leaves change into those bright, beautiful colors! Those golds and oranges are just stunning- sometimes I wish they would be this way all year long. But then I know I would miss the greens. God truly does make the most beautiful scenery and knows how to keep us guessing and appreciating all that each season has to offer.
I wanted to make my own pumpkin creamer this year because a PSL from the coffee shop is always too sweet for me, who doesn’t want to enjoy a PSL at home whenever you want, and well, Starbucks is expensive (and not very close to where I live)!
It is super easy to make, and is absolutely delicious! You can probably make it with ingredients you already have at home, or may just need to grab some half and half. You can also substitute the half and half for almond milk or coconut milk to make it dairy free.
Pumpkin Spice Creamer Ingredients: 2 T Pumpkin Puree 1 c Half and Half 1 T sugar 1 t Pumpkin Pie Spice 1 t Vanilla Warm half and half on the stovetop. Add pumpkin puree, spice, and vanilla and stir until heated through and pumpkin puree is stirred in. Strain if desired. Add desired amount to coffee and enjoy!
(I don’t strain my pumpkin spice creamer before adding it to my coffee. I like as much of the pumpkin flavor as possible. But if you just want the pumpkin flavor infused into your creamer or have a hard time with textures, you may want to strain it first.)
